for teachers to design an assessment plan that is
aligned to their teaching plans.
The Assessment Calendar in effect sets out the
targets and milestones for the class
Students access Quizdom in class or at home using a phone, tablet or computer.
This means that work like NAPLAN Preparation and Assessments FOR Learning can be completed as homework.
Students work through the assessments at their own pace. They receive feedback and clear worked solutions after each question, or at the end of the test, depending on which option the teacher has selected.
When students click ‘Finish’, the assessment is marked automatically. Students immediately receive an on-the-spot report.
When students complete an assessment, the teacher receives a diagnostic report on their performance - one click in the Assessment Calendar, and the report automatically appears.
The report data shows the strengths and weaknesses of each class, and each student.
If a class gets 100% in Statistics, but only 60% in Geometry, it’s easy to see where the teaching plan needs to focus.
Click ‘Export’, and the report data is safely stored away (ready for end-of-semester reports).
In addition to hundreds of assessments, Quizdom has a huge database of literacy and numeracy lesson plans and activities for F-10 students.
But instead of teachers searching through thousands of resources to find just the right one, Quizdom does the work for them.
When a Diagnostic Report identifies a topic a class needs help with, the teacher simply clicks on that topic to have Quizdom deliver a list of activities at the right level of challenge.
Together, the Diagnostic Reports and Activity Browser make differentiated learning programs and individual support a breeze.
Quizdom provides a simple solution to managing a school-wide literacy and numeracy strategy.
The School Assessment Calendar allows Administrators to track literacy and numeracy progress in each class, right throughout the year.
They can also manage important school assessments like Entrance and Placement Tests and Minimum Standards by scheduling them directly into Teachers’ Assessment Calendars.
The School Overview allows Administrators to see the assessments each teacher has scheduled for their class.
In this way, Administrators can keep track of assessments and results for the whole school.
Together with the School Assessment Calendar, the School Overview gives Administrators the information and control they need to ensure every student reaches their literacy and numeracy potential.
